Our Beach Story: How Happy Sand Paws Was Born
Like many great stories, ours begins with a simple walk on the beach.
In 2020, during the long, uncertain months of the COVID-19 pandemic, our small team of animal lovers found joy in one constant: our pets. Between lockdowns and quarantines, the quiet moments spent at home with our three dogs and two cats brought us comfort, laughter, and companionship when the world felt still.
But it wasn’t until we were finally allowed back outside that inspiration truly struck.
A Walk That Changed Everything
After weeks of staying indoors, the first time we took our dogs to the beach felt magical. They ran, dug, rolled, and sprinted through the sand like it was their very first day of freedom. Their pure joy reminded us of something important: our pets deserve to feel this happy every day.
That walk became more than just a moment of relief. It became the start of an idea.
From Sand and Paws to a Purpose
We asked ourselves:
What if we could create something that brought pets joy, stimulation, and well-being—even when they're not on the beach?
From that question, HappySandPaws was born.
We decided to build a brand that celebrates the happiness our pets bring us by providing them with thoughtfully designed, safe, and fun pet supplies.
